Longitude 131°

If you've never been to Ayers Rock and plan to go (like most of us), here's a great place to set up camp. Literally. Longitude 131° is a luxury eco-tent hotel located in the wilderness of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. A hop, skip and a jump from Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Sure, a backpack and a tent would be cheaper, but why fight the mozzies when you can have views like this – and air conditioning?

And when you want to venture outside the hotel offers great tours and expeditions of the local landscape and wildlife.

Come nightfall, Table 131 offers al fresco dining under the dramatic desert sky and a canopy of stars. Now that's how to travel… RM

we stayed at longitude 131 for three nights and semi enjoyed ourselves.
the main drawback are the tiny black flying insects that attack during the day.it was impossible to use the pool because of the exposure to these insects.aside from that the experience of the individual room was comfortable and had all the ammentities of a three star hotel.
take a face net if your going!
