Juvet Landscape Hotel

I'm never happier than when I'm immersed in a totally new environment, especially if it's somewhere new – and breathtakingly beautiful. The Juvet Landskapshotell fits this vision perfectly. The 'landscape hotel' in Gudbrandsjuvet, Norway, is a bold blend of modern design and natural surroundings.

The surroundings? The Burtigard farmstead in Gudbrand's ravine, nestled among the craggy fjords of the Norddal municipality. The design? A farmhouse, a barn, plus ten detached hotel rooms scattered in the foliage, each with at least one wall made entirely of glass, and none overlooking another.

The Juvet Lanskapshotell is a collaboration between the National Tourist Routes association, architect firm Jensen and Skodvin (JSA) and local landowner Knut Slinning. RM
