A luxury resort you can take your pet to? Unheard of, right? Well, here's something even better – a luxury resort where your furry friend gets pampered too. Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort in Tuscany, Italy, has seven pools – including one entirely reserved for guests' pets.
The resort, located in the Siena hills among olive groves and vineyards, is the ultimate in luxurious spas. Built in the 17th century by the Grand Duke Ferdinando I de Medici, it boasts natural springs with warm thermal waters.
As for those pools, there's a large outdoor pool connected to a smaller indoor one, a state-of-the-art Bioaquam circuit, a water gym pool, an intimate pool for balneotherapy (where colors and aromas are used to create liquid sound), an exclusive pool for the use of hotel guests only, and a pool reserved for guests' pets.
It's unusual enough that pets are allowed in the hotel, but having a pool all to themselves? Amazing. Now, my only question is… do they really mean pets – or just dogs? If I brought our goldfish and frog, or my sister's cat, would they let them in? Just curious… RM
