Ace Hotel

Pearl District. Many original details of the building (previously the Clyde Hotel) have been preserved, so you'll find cast-iron roll-top baths, polished wood paneling, mosaic-tiled flooring, large windows and high ceilings with mouldings. These have been supplemented with architectural salvage and local artistry, to create a vibe that is, they say, 'elegantly disheveled yet uncluttered, comfortable and bohemian'. More home than hotel.

The Ace Hotel Portland was actually created by FOUR people – you only named THREE. The fourth is Jack Barron. Thanks, Natasha
