The northeast mountain area of Los Angeles has been on fire since August 26th. Know as The Station Fire, it has since then burned down over 164 square miles of the Angeles National Forest. This is a short time lapse video shot from a balcony near Dodger Stadium showing both the immensity of the fire and the amazing formations the smoke creates. Also take a look at a picture NASA took of the fires from space after the jump.
