It's not often you see a man with his head inside a lion's mouth. The circus must have come to town. Actually, it's on it way. The 8th International Circus Festival of Budapest kicks off on January 21st for five days, and features 30 acts from 17 different countries. Including this kind of thing.
If you think circuses are all about dodgy clowns and depressed elephants (and man-eating tigers), check out these pictures of the Festival by performer Kristian Kristof.
The Festival showcases the best of International and Hungarian circus arts over the course of seven live shows at the Capital Circus in Budapest. It's a chance for the artists to showcase their work to circus lovers and professionals.
