House in Palau – Not for Rent
A few days ago I came across a pretty interesting property in Palau. Yes, Palau. Never heard of it ? Palau, officially the Republic of Palau is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean, some 500 miles east of the Philippines and 2,000 miles south of Tokyo. Having emerged from United Nations trusteeship in 1994, it is one of the world’s youngest and smallest nations.
Back to the found property on this amazing little germ of island, the story didn’t give me any clue why it was written in the first place. Nice description of the house, when and how it was built , how you get there and a convincing invitation to ‘friends’ wishing to visit. – But it was not for rent.
By now I was so intrigued by the description and the images that I was ready to become the latest ‘Facebook friend’ of Alex & Sarah just to be able to spend my next vacation in Micronesia.
Palau will offer me the world’s most beautiful
tropical paradise. Famous for its diving, Palau is rated as one of the world’s best diving destinations by scuba aficionados. And why not…Palau has unspoiled reefs, caves, and walls with the most amazing array of marine life you can ever imagine. Video here.
But now comes the best part of the article….
” Information about the caretaker position can be found at the bottom
of this page.” Here we go. Check it out for yourself. Sounds like a
perfect find and let me know if you ever made it there.
Don’t worry that it might be a bit remote. Plenty of new friends will be waiting for you to become your new companion.
