Martinique market

As a travel photographer, I'm constantly looking for that pleasant surprise, that magic moment, something to email to my friends back home in the hard-working world. On a trip to the gorgeously green and volcanic Caribbean island of Martinique, I came across a miracle worker.

My search for a miracle had taken me to the central market in Fort-de-France, and in this bustling hive of human endeavour, I met a women selling various concoctions, all derived from nature. One in particular, so she told me with a big grin, she called bois a bander, or in English, penis wood, her remedy for a common male infliction, which she guaranteed could add pizazz to a certain part of the male anatomy.
