50 Jobs 50 States In 50 Weeks

Daniel Seddiqui, a USC graduate has set himself the goal to travel to all 50 states and work 50 different careers in 50 weeks. Like many other college graduates he finished school still unsure of the path he wanted to take. Through his travels and work he hopes to both find a path for himself and also to share his experiences with the world though his website. Check out his journey.

One of the best ways to really become familiar with a certain place is to live and work with the people who live there. By doing so one gets to know the day to day lives of the locals that one might not notice as a tourist.

For each state Daniel chooses a job that is popular and representative of the state. So for example in Indianapolis, Indiana he worked as a Pit-Crew Worker, in Medford, Oregon he worked as a Logger and in Nashville, Tennessee he worked as a Studio Technician.

In today's hard job market people across the United States are rethinking their carrier paths. Americans often forget the amazing diversity in jobs we have across our country.

Daniel Seddiqui's provides great write-ups and pictures of each of the jobs he tries out, and gives a great insight into both what its like to actually work in each given field but also what it's like to live in each state with the people that are from there. EW
