Imagine getting one of these in your Christmas stocking. M-Velope is a transformable cabin designed by architectural pioneer Michael Jantzen, and it's available exclusively through Neiman Marcus' Christmas Book.
What makes M-Velope interesting is that, like a giant puzzle, it can be manipulated into all kinds of different shapes. Hinged-wood panels (made from highly-sustainable Accoya wood) can be moved around until your M-Velope takes on the dimensions you need for a yoga studio, meditation space, party pavilion or garden shed.
At 15ft high by 14ft wide by 17ft deep, it's not huge, but there's enough room for eight people on the interior benches, which can also be used to sleep two. Another cool thing is that, as the cabin takes on new shapes, the light inside it changes dramatically.
The catch? There will only be ten of them, priced at $100,000 each. Now that's a stocking stuffer. RM
