Live like a hobbit
We're not suggesting you sprout hair on your feet, make friends with wizards and fight orcs. But we do think you'd be crazy not to want one of these houses from Scottish design company Microlodge.
Microlodges are fixed 14ft x 8ft camping shelters that sleep four on a double and two single bunks (but they can also create bespoke versions for six). Made from varnished pine tongue and groove, and Rubberoid hexagonal shingles, they have a door at one side and a small window at the other, providing both light and ventilation.
They come ready for occupancy with heating and lighting and even a TV. All for a mere £5995.

These look lovely where can I stay in one? I’d like to try it for weekend – preferably within 100 miles of Edinburgh!
