Tugo To Go
It’s one of those things you’d have never thought you needed. But now that it exists, you wonder how you lived without it. The tugo is a simple thing: a cupholder for your suitcase. Genius.
We have them in our cars, even on strollers. So, why not suitcases? I suspect we’ve all tried to do it – rush from check-in, grab a coffee, juggle suitcase, laptop, tickets, and cup all the way up to the gate. The end result is usually an explosive mess – the last thing you need just before a long-haul flight.
Hence the idea for the suitcase cupholder, dreamed up by Karen Porte, a mother and ER nurse who’s spent many a trip juggling baggage, beverage and kids. It’s lightweight, easy to take on and off, and best of all only $9.95. Great for drinks, rolled up newspapers and even stuffing the odd jacket into. RM
