Grandma's Revenge

On the subject of compact furniture… we doubt if you could fit this folding kitchen into your suitcase. But you could certainly integrate it into your mobile home, if you're that way inclined. It's called Grandma's Revenge and was designed by Melanie Olle and Ilja Oelschlägel of the University of Art and Design in Halle, Germany. Why Grandma's Revenge? Well, say the designers, it's 'like the grandma herself: a real multifunctional talent'.
Grandma's Revenge

Folded away, it's a flat wall. Opened up, Grandma's Revenge holds a cooking area, a dishwashing facility, a chopping board, a table and chairs. The cooking area also folds away while the dining area is in use. The designers suggest a brilliant idea for clearing up: 'After finishing your romantic candle light dinner, it is not necessary to waste your time with cleaning the table and the dishes. Just push the table and close the folding door and it looks tidy up to the next morning.' Fantastic. RM

This one is really great (it might be a bit large though)…

Any comments?
