Wee Planets

Check out this great picture by Alexandre Duret-Lutz. Guess what it is, and I’ll tell you after the jump.

He calls his work Wee Planets, and they certainly look like they’re bearing down on you from the sky above. But they’re actually pictures of Paris.

If you’re confused, don’t worry. Alexandre also explains in detail how they’re created – just in case you want to try the same thing.

Here’s a snippet: ‘All these pictures are 360°x180° panoramas projected to look like small planets using a projection called stereographic projection.’
