Pimp my plane

When it comes to transportation, we’re a pretty uninspiring bunch. Grey cars, white boats, blue trains, grey airplanes… I know that when I see an orange Lamborghini, I usually assume ‘midlife crisis’ and snigger derisively to myself. I think it’s time I/we got over this disdain for bling, and spraypainted our cars every color of the rainbow, perhaps even all at once. And when we fly, we should insist our planes look like these…

Not that Pokemon is the way to go for all planes, but it’s more fun than a blue and white fuselage, don’t you think?

There are of course classier alternatives, like famous dead Austrians…

But cartoons are fun – and they make you want to get on the plane. It’s just an amusement ride, right?

When it comes to design, the sky really is the limit. Let’s live a little. RM
