Model for a Hotel 2007
There's an empty plinth in Trafalgar Square, London. It's been empty since it was built in 1841 and no-one had the money to put a statue on it. Then in 2005, along came the Fourth Plinth Project, and now the plinth is a platform for public art. In early November, the Mayor of London unveiled the second resident of the perch, Model for a Hotel 2007 by German artist Thomas Schütte.
