Floating snack bar

What do you do if you live in an area that's prone to flooding? Build a house that can turn into a boat, of course. Here's an example of a snack bar in a Frankfurt park that does exactly that. The Licht- und Luftbad park is located in a peninsula on the Main river that has a tendency to flood every once in a while – a problem all coast dwellers could face if global warming does what it is said to be doing. German architects Meixner Sclueter Wendt decided to make a feature of this problem and created a 'swimming building'.
