With cruise ships getting ever bigger, and space on land becoming limited, the idea of docking at sea doesn’t seem totally ridiculous. Waterstudio designs with the intention of giving water a place in architecture. Concepts for buildings in and around water include an apartment complex called The Citadel, Stilthouses, and even a floating mosque.

The floating cruise terminal will be a destination in itself. It has enough room for three huge cruise ships to moor, while smaller boats can enter the complex through the lifted point of the triangular structure.
