Mid-Century Modern in Big Bear

In Los Angeles, we're lucky enough to be close to the ocean, the desert and the mountains. The most notable of the latter is of course, Big Bear, every Angeleno's first choice for a quick-fix ski getaway. The trouble is, where to stay? I think we may have found the answer: Niko’s Nido, a great mid-century modern post-and-beam cabin, centrally located in Moonridge (about a mile from Bear Mountain, and a mile and a half from Snow Summit). It's big (2,200 sq ft), sleeps six comfortably, and has the amenities you'd want when you're relaxing post-ski: a huge fireplace, flatscreen, BluRay DVD, and a /div> well-equipped kitchen – so you don't have to eat at Denny's.
